Exploring the Markets

There are wet markets all over Ho Chi Minh City - below is a very small one, some take up whole city blocks.

In the poorer districts this is definitely the super market. Fish are so fresh they are still kicking when put out for sale whilst the meat is not refrigerated, so I suspect it pays to buy early!

In addition to the wet markets, there are also a load of specialist markets. I visited Haberdashery Lane and the Flower Market both of which were huge!
