My fellow travellers

I spent 5 days on a tour of Central Vietnam lead by French born, Saigon based photographer Arnaud Foucard.

Arnaud is a great photo guide - as well as getting us to some great photo locations, he was very focussed on teaching throughout the tour. So if you want to learn a lot more about street and travel photography, Arnaud comes highly recommended. This tour had a maximum of 6 participants.

Tash and Logan’s cameras taking a rest.

I didn’t set out to photograph my tour companions, but looking back through my photos, I have caught a few ok photos of some of them, so here goes.

Working the scene

Logan

Up to his ankles in water as usual (on another day he was up to his neck in the sea with his camera held high above his head - we all thought it was heading for a watery grave).

Tash

Logan’s partner Tash after falling into a rice paddy. Logan and Tash were definitely the most adventurous of us all - the benefits of youth.

Arty gets up close and personal with the locals.

Our fearless leader Arnaud with his wife Thung on the “bateau” that took us out to the suspended fishing nets.

Apologies to anyone who’s name I misspelled and to Kevin who didn’t feature in any of the photos I caught.
